Corporate

Cartwright Physicaltherapy offers a corporate service to organisations within the North Sydney CBD locale. At no cost to the organisation, our practitioners will provide an on-site presentation on strategies for maintaining optimal health in the workplace. Many of the patients we see in an average week are in need of help with injuries resulting from, or exacerbated by, poor workstation ergonomics and postural habits, and which can impact negatively on employee productivity.

At Nespresso, we pride ourselves in having built a highly motivated and effective workforce through continued application of effective employee engagement practices. One of these is recognising that physical health is critical to an employee’s ability to perform well, and we are mindful of the need to ensure the working environment is safe and conducive to productive work. As an example, we engaged the team at Cartwright Physicaltherapy to speak to our staff on the importance of good ergonomic practice in today’s office environment, and explain some of the practices available for treating poor posture and related injuries. They also provided complementary injury assessments at the end of the session which staff greatly appreciated. We have since noted that quite a few staff members have become regular clients, and are appreciative of this staff benefit. Based on the feedback from staff and uptake of the benefit we would definitely invite Cartwright Physicaltherapy back to the business again.

Skin checks, massages, flu vaccinations and dedicated wellness rooms are all part of the program. We recently invited Cartwright Physicaltherapy to talk to our Sydney-based employees about the risks of poor ergonomic practice in the office environment, and explain some of the practices available for treating poor posture and related injuries. Several of our staff have since gone to Cartwright Physicaltherapy and the feedback has been very positive.
